Working one to one is my favourite way to make art. The piece is shaped by you: your room, your palette, and the feeling you want to walk into every day. Here is how it works and how to begin.
A little about me
The hands behind the work
I'm an Australian abstract artist working mostly in acrylic and oil pastel. My work leans into movement, texture and a natural, design led sensibility, the kind of piece that brings depth and quiet to a room. A commission is a chance to make something that could only ever be yours.

The process
From first idea to the piece on your wall
Enquiry
Tell me about the piece you have in mind: the room, the dimensions, the colours you love and the feeling you're after. The form at the bottom of this page is the easiest way to start. It also helps to share two or three of my past pieces you feel most drawn to. I won't recreate an existing work, but they tell me the direction that resonates with you.
Consultation and scope
We talk through the direction together, then I confirm the size, palette, timeline and price and send a quote with an invoice for the deposit.
Concept and deposit
A 50% deposit secures your place in my calendar. Before any painting begins I share a rough concept and colour direction, so you can shape it early. This is the moment to raise anything. Once the work is underway, changes are limited.
Creation
I get to work, and share progress along the way so there are no surprises. Most pieces take around 6 to 10 weeks from approved concept, depending on scale.
Approval and delivery
When the piece is finished I send photos for your final approval. Once the balance is settled, I carefully package and ship it to you, or arrange local delivery.

Guide pricing
Every commission is quoted individually based on size, medium and complexity. As a starting point:
A 50% deposit secures your commission, with the balance due before delivery. Shipping is quoted separately.

Questions I'm often asked
Can you paint to a specific colour palette?
Yes. Share swatches, a fabric, or a few photos of your space and I'll build the palette around them.
Do you work from a photograph?
My work is abstract, so I paint to a feeling and direction rather than reproducing a photo exactly. Reference images are welcome as inspiration.
How many changes can I request?
The concept stage is where we refine together, so most adjustments happen before I start painting. Once the piece is underway, changes are limited.
Does it come framed?
Pieces are supplied unframed so you can style them to your space. I'm happy to suggest framing options.
Do you ship outside Australia?
Australia wide as standard, and internationally by arrangement. Shipping is quoted separately once the size is confirmed.
What does the deposit cover?
The 50% deposit reserves your place in my calendar and covers materials, so it is non refundable once the concept stage begins.
