In this blog series, I ask instagram influencers what art is to them. These are the people that are shaping our landscape of aesthetics in some way, shape or form and I was super intrigued to understand what art meant to them as it isn't always a painting or piece, it can be anything that brings you peace and joy or expression.

So what is art to Christina?

When I asked Christina this question, her response was this "It’s a line in a book that makes me flutter or weep, a poem or lyric that understands me better than I do. It’s a painting that’s intricate and precise and tells a story of a world I don’t know, or it’s a messy and chaotic and tells of another world, different again. It’s instrumentals that can make me so sad, or so elated depending on how I choose to hear it. Art is all these things to me - any body of work that takes me away, that makes me feel, learn, and grow. It’s all of it, always."

Christina's writing is incredibly inspiring to me. Her answer is also. Her answer is art to me.

I am so honoured to be currently working on a commission piece for Christina's beautiful Byron Bay home.
